We Support Our Teachers

Eaton Elementary School PTA Resolution to Support Teachers on May 16, 2018.

Whereas, The North Carolina General Assembly will reconvene for the 2018 short session on Wednesday, May 16th.

Whereas, Teachers are using Personal Days to come to the North Carolina General Assembly to address critical issues in education.

Whereas, This PTA recognizes the effort and sacrifices our educators make on behalf of our students every day.

Whereas, We believe educators presence on May 16th at the NCGA is an important and courageous extension of that effort and sacrifice.

Therefore Be it Resolved, that this PTA supports our educators.

Mark your calendars for the next PTA General Assembly meeting, February 13th. Kindergarten will be front and center with a special choral won't want to miss it!

Defy Gravity will host the next Eaton Family Fun Night on February 21st from 6:00-7:00 pm. Be on the lookout for more information on purchasing tickets.

Don't forget to use pumps #7 and #8 at the Circle K across from Eaton. Each fill-up helps earn money for our school!

Here are the Box Tops totals so far...
the next collection date is in March, so keep clipping!

AND...there will be a prize awarded to the student who turns in the most Box Tops between February 1st and February 16th!

Eaton Elementary Fall Festival

The Fall Festival is rapidly approaching and we are ready to have lots of fun!  Advance ticket sales will begin Monday, October 30th – Thursday, November 2nd.  PTA members will also be selling tickets in the afternoons during student pick up in the car line!  You may purchase advance tickets during that time or you may complete the form (click here) and send it along with your money to your child’s teacher for processing.  Advance ticket orders will be filled each day and sent home with your child.
If you order tickets by sending in the form, please have this turned in NO LATER than Thursday November 2nd, 2017.

To give you an idea of the number of game tickets you may want to purchase, listed below are the events and the number of tickets each event requires.  It will take roughly 80 tickets to do everything listed below one time around.

I Ticket:  Lollipop Spin, ER Unit, Tattoos, Gold Fish Toss, The CLAW, Face Painting

2 Tickets:  Bottle Toss, Ring It, Monkey Toss, Wack a FROG, Fall Craft, Go Fish

3 Tickets:  Ring Toss, Duck Pond, Corn Hole

4 Tickets:  Cake Walk, Putt Putt, Basketball Free Throw

5 Tickets:  Wheel of Eaton, Hair Flair

6 Tickets:  BINGO, Plinko, Photo Booth, Pie Your Teacher
7 Tickets:  Main Event- Port City Xtreme Game Truck

Please note the Fall Festival will be held Rain or Shine.  Make sure to get your GAME tickets and CHANCE AUCTION tickets early to avoid long lines.  However, tickets will be sold the day of the Festival.
Leftover Game Tickets can be used for Chance Auction. 

We will also be selling snacks and refreshments. Food Vendors will be here:

The Reflections Arts Program encourage creativity and lifelong learning while offering recognition for artistic endeavors. The PTA Reflections Program is designed to enhance quality arts education for students in preschool through grade 12.

All entries must be submitted by November 6th and can be in any of the categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts
